We’ve just returned from a fabulous getaway, of which I hope to blog soon. While there, I was sipping on some green tea on the floor when I saw the sun beaming through this wooden pattern of the coffee table and couldn’t help but indulge in a quick click.. oh the sunlight.. what magic it can invoke to a picture.. :-)
For me, tea in winters is one made with lots of fresh spices. It gives it that extra warmth that is needed for these cooler months, and takes it a whole new delicious level all together. My favorite spices that I often add these days are:
Elaichi/ Cardamom powder
Ajwain/ Carom seeds
And, the best of ‘em all…freshly pound ginger

One of the best ways to enjoy an overcast is with a cup of tea at your window sill, and some rain kinda songs, songs that often take you down memory lane, songs like this one..

Sipping my cuppa tea and browsing through some old posts, I went back to this one that I wrote in April 2009. Seems like I have created just the atmosphere needed to fulfill those items on my wish list. And now I need to start implementing each one of those, day by day, week by week and the quote there still stands so true….
