:) I remember how sometime somewhere in my late teens mum would be behind my life to learn how to cook, not just the basics but a lot of delicacies too. Her concerns were given considering we girls get married and need to cook or at least know how to cook. But that was then.
Today, with the number of food blogs available at the click of a mouse, it is only a matter of selecting which ones you like, choosing a recipe & hitting the kitchen :). What mums can do for daughters who just won't cook is compile a list of their favourite blogs and pack it with their trousseau. Life's super easy with them.
And if you're a Sindhi or love Indian food anyway, I would highly recommend having a look at Alka's Sindhi Rasoi. It is FAB to say the least and I am ever so grateful to her for her amazing collection of authentic recipes.
