We often keep memories locked and stocked in our hearts and minds but imagine having some of them around us in pictures, waking up to them, going to sleep after taking a look at them, re-living them with friends and family every now and then.
Back in 2008, I had seen awesome engagement photos of Joanna (from Cup of Jo) and her then fiancé (now husband :D) on her blog and had asked in a post if there were such talented portrait photographers in Dubai. I so wanted to have such an experience with hubby that would be outdoors, fun, candid, with pictures that would reflect the bond we share.
Almost two years later, my wish was fulfilled and how - thanks to our dear friends who presented hubby and I with a portrait experience. Imagine my excitement – you know that feeling – when you unexpectedly get what you’ve been wanting to do for yourself :)
And so we had the opportunity to meet and shoot with one such awesome photographer in the city.
Meet Dollee Bhatia, the lady behind our beautiful pictures. Dollee comes loaded with a creative heart and mind and a very interesting background having spent many years at MTV Networks India.
This was our first portrait session since the wedding and we totally loved it. I have often seen most of us reserve such professional photographer experiences for engagements and weddings only but I truly believe that every once in a while, when there is a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, baby, milestone, this is a must :) Moments captured to be re-lived again for years and years to come.
If you’re in Dubai and looking for a portrait experience, then Dollee is someone I can surely recommend. See more of her work here and you can get in touch with her via e-mail on dollee[at]gmail[dot]com

Thankssss Minal :) Though did not get any cooment from you coz I approve them. Must add, there was some problem with my comments section when I uploaded this post..
The one word that comes to my mind when I saw your photos - PRECIOUS. The photographer has really captured the feelings very well - one can not only see but feel the bond and the warmth of your heart. I agree with you, special photo moments should be celebrated - why only restrict them to engagements or weddings...Cheers, :)
Awww thanks Simran, that's a precious little note :)
